University of Missouri Extension Business Specialists Offering Sessions at Tri-Lakes TCRC

Kathy Macomber and Chrystal Irons, business development specialists in Barton and Taney counties will be offering the following sessions at Tri-Lakes TCRC:

• First Steps: How to Start a Business in Missouri. Students learn the legal and regulatory requirements, identify sources of funding, assess their strengths and weaknesses. Thursday, Sept 30, 1:30-4:30 pm $29
• The Basics of Writing a Business Plan. Learn to create an effective business plan for lenders and management decision making. Wednesday, Oct 20, 1:30-4:30 pm, $29
• Quick Books – Learn the basics of setting up a company with accounts receivable, payables and payroll, progress invoicing and tracking time. (Monday & Wednesday) Nov 15 & 17, 1:30-4:30 pm, 2 sessions, $69 per computer includes comprehensive QuickBooks manual on CD
