Fackbook Co-Founder Mark Zuckerberg- Diane Sawyer's Interview

Did you hear that Facebook now has its 500 millionth member- in the interview Diane Sawyer did with Mark Zuckerberg, FB founder, Sawyer noted FB has doubled in size in the past year and FB didn't even exist 6 years ago! In two years, FB has gone from 140 to 1600 employees. Yahoo offered Zuckerberg $1 billion two years after starting FB- he didn't sell. (Click title to see the interview.)

Zuckerberg said he thinks the privacy settings are where they should be- phone numbers and addresses are set to private- only friends can see them, and things like pictures are set so everyone can see them. Remember that you can change these settings- if you're using FB you should know what each item is set at for privacy.

26 year old, Harvard dropout, Zuckerberg started FB when he was 19 and says FB is really about how people are spreading it by sharing, people make up the end result for themselves- that’s the power of democracy. Everyone has friends and family they want to stay connected with. Sawyer asked if it is a force that will transform everything globally- poverty, politics, freedom, privacy. What do you think?
